Organizational or Business Consulting—but not in the traditional sense. That’s why I call it Organizational “Coaching.” Unlike most traditional business consultants my goal is not to fine-tune your margins for profitability, reduce overhead expenses, or develop new solutions to maximize market share. My goal is to help empower your organization in a way that doesn’t focus on doing any of these things—but yet will serendipitously improve all of them!
By applying time-honored principles of organizational effectiveness and focusing on defining and/or improving the internal culture of your organization we can make some dramatic changes to your effectiveness. Long-lingering organizational, inter-operational, or interpersonal conflicts will be brought to the surface and worked through in healthy, open, and non-confrontational ways that encourage honesty, teamwork, proactivity, and initiative. Internal systems will be modified or designed to improve the work environment (or the perception of it) in ways that boost employee morale, productivity, commitment, and even social benefits for the greater good. You could even host an engagement that has little to do with work itself! Sometimes, you can make a radical shift in your employees’ work performance just by giving your shifting their minds and hearts to a more positive state and providing a more compelling and fulfilling meaning to what they do there.
